ABBUC Sommertreffen (Fujiama) an neuem Ort

Leider ist die Schützenhalle des LCC in Lengenfeld diesen Sommer aus Brandschutzgründen für Veranstaltungen gesperrt 😢. Das Fujiama-Treffen kann daher dieses Jahr nicht in Lengenfeld stattfinden.

Der ABBUC-Vorstand ist derzeit auf der Suche nach einer ähnlichen Unterkunft. Diese wird aber nicht in Lengenfeld und auch nicht in der Nähe sein. Wenn ihr also eine Unterkunft in Lengenfeld gebucht habt, solltet ihr versuchen diese zu stornieren.

ABBUC Summer Meetup (Fujiama) at a New Location

Unfortunately, the LCC meeting hall in Lengenfeld is closed to events this summer due to fire safety regulations 😢. As a result, the Fujiama meetup cannot take place in Lengenfeld this year.

The ABBUC board is currently looking for a similar venue. However, it will not be in Lengenfeld or even nearby. So if you’ve booked accommodations in Lengenfeld, you should try to cancel them.

Es fällt mir jetzt unheimlich schwer, Euch darüber zu informieren, dass es keine Fujiama 2026 geben wird.

In meiner heutigen Spätschicht erreichte mich ein Anruf von Jens Reinhold (Vorsitzender des LCC), dass es eine Besichtigung durch das Landratsamt gab, in deren Folge dem LCC alle Vermietungen und Durchführungen von Veranstaltungen auf Grund brandschutztechnischer Probleme untersagt wurden, bis auf weiteres. Es betrifft alle Veranstaltungen, unsere Fujiama, Hochzeiten und auch die des LCC selbst.

Die Probleme wurden mit zu viel Holzverbau in Bühne und und und begründet.

Mir tut es sehr weh, zumal ich gerade in der letzten Woche noch Kabelbrücken organisiert hatte.

Ich bitte Euch nun, diese traurige Nachricht schnell an alle weiter zu geben, damit man wenigstens noch Schadensbegrenzung in Richtung gebuchter Übernachtungen, Urlaub u.s.w. betreiben kann.

Bitte informiert auch die Atarianer im Ausland wie USA, Belgien, Niederlande, Polen, Tschechien u.s.w.. Ich habe leider nicht genug E-Mail-Adressen. Mehr kann ich leider nicht mehr tun, denn ein anderes Objekt auf die Schnelle ist nicht zu finden.

It is incredibly difficult for me to inform you that there will be no Fujiama 2026.

During my late shift today, I received a phone call from Jens Reinhold (Chairman of the LCC). He informed me that the district authority had carried out an inspection, which resulted in the LCC being prohibited from renting out the venue and holding any events until further notice due to fire safety issues. This affects all events, including our Fujiama, weddings, and even events organized by the LCC itself.

The issues were reportedly attributed to excessive wooden structures in and around the stage, among other things.

This is especially painful for me, as I had only organized cable covers/ramps last week in preparation for the event.

I would now like to ask you to spread this sad news as quickly as possible so that everyone still has a chance to minimize any losses regarding booked accommodations, vacation arrangements, and similar plans.

Please also inform the Atari community members abroad, including those in the USA, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, and elsewhere. Unfortunately, I do not have enough email addresses to reach everyone myself.

Sadly, there is nothing more I can do at this point, as it is impossible to find a suitable alternative venue on such short notice.

If you have any further questions, I am on late shift this week, so I may be at home in the mornings, or otherwise available over the weekend.
